I tested this site long time ago, maybe one year ago, and I remember that I tried to trade indicators very technically. I was very disappointed with my first results, at the end, the most simple worked, just one SMA and good money management.
Today, I don't know why, I recalled it and searched here for a thread, I knew somebody would post something here
Made some fun, this time with BollingerBands and 50SMA but at the end, trades based on price action, volume... and most important cutting loses quickly and letting my profits run. More discretionary than one year ago. want to share it (made the video 400% faster):
My performance: +259.4% (Annualized +81%)
Buy and hold: +5.58% (Annualized +0.68%)
I traded without any intention to make a video of it, but I usually record my screen while I'm trading and had the (rec) on.
In fact, I think I can't talk about the strategy I did here, is something intrinsic in me. By the other hand, been lucky that the buy and hold strategy caught a bad stock that went to 4 or so, and I made good scalps from
Yep, you're right. In fact the max I made in the past is $4 millions but I moved few months ago (changed from city) and lost past performances (it stores it each time you start a new game). On that $4 hit was one trade that helped me to make 1 million and then grow it (I think I made 1,000% in one trade, it never stopped, like in a rocketing pennystock scammer advertising ). I don't try to extract any conclusions of it because real time/real money is completely different and it buys all in all out!
I'm a Mac user, so I record my desktop every day with iShowU, and edit my videos with iMovie. Sorry I think you are a windows user, don't you?
