What adds insult to injury, like most police incidents where the cops are WRONG, is that it's the way it was handled. Cops NEVER admit they did something wrong. NEVER. Even after realizing what they had done, they totally drug their feet on getting this guy an ambulance, intimidated the guy's wife, etc, etc,.....
The thing that makes you hate cops more than them making mistakes is when they show ZERO contrition after it's blatantly obvious to everyone they were wrong.
Unfortunately, the taxpayers will pay the brunt of this (along with the victim's family) and instead of firing the entire team from the supervisor to the shooter, they'll slap them on the wrist and come up with dozens of excuses as to why it went down the way it did.
