Hi everyone, I'm having this issue now for a while with NT8 (using templates from AMS orderflow software) that the quotes in the dynamic Dom are lagging and/or stalling. Especially after a fill it almost immediately stalls but when I move my mouse it's running again only to stall seconds later again. Can't trade that way obvioulsy......
Helpdesk NT doesn't know after sending them the log files. Data feed is Continuum so that should be fine. So out of "safety" I'm using the IB (v.960) booktrader that is just horrible to work with. Anybody have a clue of what is causing this and how to solve it? It is keeping me from trading and that's no bueno...
Thnx!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I would install a kind of CPU monitor, let it run in the lower corner of the screen
and when this 'stall' happens, see if there is an excessive load or not ?
From there try to eliminate other sources..
If a program stalls, it is either doing things or the computer does not allocate
enough slices of cpu power to do the work...
