i was wondering if anyone has seen and decent time cycle tools for ninja ... or if anyone had found anything worthwhile to pay attention to when it comes to "time" cycle tools/indicators... seems to be a decent amount on other platforms but haven't seen much on the ninja side. might be its just not worth to persue or just a different breed with ninja but would enjoy learning/hearing about anyones experiences other than the bacttothefuture timing tool from other posts....

thanks

While not a Ninjatrader application, it falls in the "cyclic nature of the market" category. I've looked at what they offer and while it seems legitimate, so do a lot of things until additional scutiny is applied. Perhaps others have actually used the system or could comment on how it or some of the principals might be applied through Ninjatrader. As the system relies on weekly price movements rather than intraday, it might not be applicable to daytrading.

There are the CoronaCycle, Adaptive CyberCycle and Hilbert SineWave indicators, which are part of the Ehlers Collection and can be downloaded here:

You should also have a look at the d9ParticleOscillator and the d9PhaseShiftOscillator, see the following thread:

Is there any free "BetterHilbertSineWave" Indicator out there , like the adjustments that are for sale on eminiwatch.com ?

also a NT7 version of Discrete Fourier Transform - Tradesignal Online would be interesting.

As well as FXCodeBase.COM: Forex Chart Indicators and Development • View topic - Fast Fourier Transformation indicator .

Anything like this for NT7 ?

You could also have a look at the d9PhaseShiftOscillator, which is comparable if not superior to the BetterHilbertSineWave. You can find it here:

thanks guys those are great links and i have read through most of those on ninja regarding d9/cunparis/ehlers i look at that as more of a "price derived" cycle verses a time derived cycle ... i guess i was thinking along the lines of static time count or dynamic time count tools or indicators ... ninja has one limited tool called fib time extensions....

but i have not seen many offerings regarding time cycle counts or at least reliable ones with ninja ... there are many tools out there other than on ninja like Timing Solution or things along those lines ... but was looking for something comparable in ninja or something along these lines without having to lay down 3-17,000$ to find out if it is worthwhile ...

thanks for the input ... all good stuff
