Hello,
Wondering if anyone has used the PRC2 indicator that is found on this forum in a NT strategy? I can't seem to get it to work. Would love to communicate with someone who has.
Thanks

Avoid it like the plague! Had it on a chart a year or so ago & it looks GREAT - at the END of the day. You don't want to risk real $$ on PRC or PRC2. It's CONSTANTLY recalculating so you really can't trust it for accurate trading signals.

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!

What good is an indy that recalculates? Why would anyone create such a thing?

I did many many years ago and would say it is not worth wasting time on.

Hmm... I thought it wasn't supposed to tell you to fade. Just to tell you when to get ready and look for a good fade. No?

I'm looking for an indicator similar to this one, but which will snap to Gann swing pivots. i.e. will re-curve as each swing pivot is found, rather than only using Standard Deviations.

By the way, if anyone using this indicator wants to hide the plots earlier than the period set, i.e. the old part of the plot which doesn't have smoothed curves. I used the following amend to the source code.
From about line 233...

Code
			//----------Fill Zones
			if(fillZones && showLine)
			{
			// DrawRegion("HiZone", CurrentBar, 0, Sqh,  Sqh2,  Color.Empty, fillColor, 2);
			// DrawRegion("LoZone", CurrentBar, 0, Sql,  Sql2,  Color.Empty, fillColor, 2);
			DrawRegion("HiZone", period, 0 , Sqh,  Sqh2,  Color.Empty, fillColor, 2);
			DrawRegion("LoZone", period, 0, Sql,  Sql2,  Color.Empty, fillColor, 2);
				PlotColors[1][period] = Color.Transparent;
				PlotColors[2][period] = Color.Transparent;
				PlotColors[3][period] = Color.Transparent;
				PlotColors[4][period] = Color.Transparent;
			}
