pv signals

Silvester17 View Post
have to say, I like this kind of analysis

this is similar, but the same time very different than the traditional delta divergence indicator. those 2 indicators will never give you the same signal (opposite use of delta).

here's a comparison. the delta divergence indicator has numbers (delta) and the pv indicator uses letters (buy, sell). lots of signals, but with some confirmation tools like vwap, dom etc, I believe both indicators can be useful. but again, I would only use range charts for this purpose

could also be used on a footprint chart:

hi silvester please tell what indicator you are using for the pv signals and how to display them on the footprint chart
your reply would be appreciate
thanks

@chartman,

I named it "gomPriceVolume".

it's still a work in progress. right now it only displays the delta difference between the last bar and the current bar. would like to add a few more options like volume difference and maybe a choice of text by the user.

also my version does not detect different bars (like inside, outside etc). it's only made for range bars. but please keep in mind, it's @cory indicator and I don't want to interfere.

you could also check my russian website for distribution

so it is not available for download?
thank you for your help

tips:
5m chart
-yes, you can expand it to see the harsh marks better.
-track the harsh marks closely when they switch from - to + to feel the market mood.

this indicator , GomBidAskPVbyJackH is for followers of 'volume leads price' school. PV stands for Price Volume relationship.
The indicator is like a 3D puzzle watch the clip starts at 6:50 and take note so you won't miss finer details.

I cannot see the indicator in Ninja after I added the file in the custom folder.

It goes into the \Indicator subdirectory. Then, bring up it or any other indicator in the editor, right click to compile, and all indicators - including the one you just placed there - will be recompiled, and it shall be in your indicator list.
