I was just using market replay when I got the dreaded "NinjaTrader" has encountered a problem" then one of the charts suddenly displayed this (see image):

Has anybody else seen this, or does NT not want me to trade CL any more!

Luckily I don't depend on NT any more - can't think why!

Thanks for the link Redratsal.

Fat Tails said this in that thread:

I am currently getting a Red Cross, when I am loading up too much historical data at once and my data supplier stops sending historical data. In this case NT - it is version 7.0.0.10 - throws an exception, and I need to close the chart. I can then reopen a new chart and continue without any problem. I have communicated this to support, they have confirmed the bug and it should go away with the next release.

Looks like the bug is still in the production version after all.

David

What do you depend on (use) instead?

Thanks.

David,
I personally would like to understand this. Would be great if you could start NinjaTrader, select the meny Help > Mail To Support, include in the subject "For RayD".

Do you enter orders with Sierra or do you use Sierra for charts and something else for O/E?

Thanks.
