Do you enter orders with Sierra or do you use Sierra for charts and something else for O/E?

Thanks.

Regards,
TMFT

I use it mostly for automated trading, however I have started to use it to enter orders manually too using the chart trader.

Initially I thought that SC wasn't as good for manual order entry as NT, however once I worked out how to use the SC chart trader and set up the associated orders, I actually find it easy and intuitive to use, and above all, very reliable.

I was forced towards SC by continuing issues with NT stability (recurrent and concerning errors with strategy Id's requiring a database reinstall, crashes with market replay), but actually it is a product that seems to get better the more I use it and become familiar with it.

Also I need to interface with IB TWS financial advisor, which NT can't do, for some reason, whereas it works perfectly well with SC.
