I am looking to hire a programmer for NT7 to create a custom indicator.

I use the time and sales window (the tape) and the speed of the tape as confirmation of trade entry; I wait for my setups and then need the first two to confirm my entry.

I use an indicator that measures the speed of the tape; nothing to do with volume, but when the time and sales window speeds up (more orders comming in) the indicator will rise showing me market activity is increasing. A speedometer for time and sales. Note:volume is not important.

I also watch time and sales window that is filtered to only show orders that are 5lot or greater. NOTE THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORDER BOOK "Depth of market"

I want to create a way that in realtime indiactor that will measure time and sales like a speedometer measures MPH. So lets call it orders per second.....a line the runs and then when the order flow speed increases the line will rise and when the order flow slows down it decreases. Want to be able to color code the line at certain speeds.

Next I want a way to be notified when:
The speed of order entry increase say "x" percent; a variable I can change. AND
Time and sales window shows order entry VOLUME to be "x" number of contracts; a variable I can change.

The indicator would be a colored dot under the current bar forming; it would be green if
1. speed of order entry is increasing (note nothing to do with volume) AND
2. Orders comming in have reached a threshold level of say 100 contracts and they were entered on the OFFER.

The indicator would be a colored dot under the current bar forming; it would be red if
1. speed of order entry is increasing (nothing here to do with volume of the orders) AND
2. orders comming in have reached a threshold level of say 100 contracts and they were entered on the BID.

Let me know.

I have used James at TradingCoders www.tradingcoders.com in the past. His email is codingmanager@tradingcoders.com. Visit his sight, look around, and then send him an email with what you want and he'll give you a quote. I've found his rates to be very reasonable. I've used him quite a bit as I am not a programmer either and have been very happy with his work. Of course, not being a programmer I can't analyze the code and say whether it's great code or not, but I know it works.

So all the usual disclaimers... proceed with caution and only move forward if you are comfortable blah blah blah.

Best of luck to you.
