Can you explain what you mean by "it shows the discrepancies."? Is it working correctly or not?
Thanks.

I was referring to the discrepancies as described in the chart attached to post #16. Please compare the LineBreakWicked bar type on the chart to that of the ThreeLinesBreakOnPrice indicator (which is essentially three line break chart overlaid on normal 60 min bars). I believe the LineBreakWicked bartype is not working correctly.

Attached is the cs file for the ThreeLinesBreakonPrice indicator.

@zacharydw00, this is a screeshot of 3BLB comparation from SC to NT, I don't know if they are working in different way by design, but there are differences, here is the link of @aslan version for SC BetterLineBreak Custom Chart - Sierra Chart

The 3LB SC you posted is not correct. I pointed out 2 reversal bars that did not brake the 3rd bar back. Can you post a comparison against NT's LB bar type.
Thanks

I have marked up my earlier chart in blue to show 3 reversal bars that did not break the 3rd bar back. Thanks.

I do not have access to SPY data. So I am unable to do my own comparison.
Sorry

I have just checked on real time data, and it's not wrong, it works this way by design, it uses the 3 bar open, instead close, to make the break. Just for clarification.

FYI - That is not the authors intent. See Beyond Candlestick - Steve Nison, pg 173.
