Try loading a new chart with an instrument that is in the list. Then while on the chart, just type SPY (etc) and press enter, see if that works. It's been a while since I used NT for charting, but my memory seems to think that is one way to get it to import instrument settings from your data provider.

Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? I get the error "Unable to subscribe to market data: Please assign an additional exchange to this instrument in the Instrument Manager QQQQ Default"
Then another pop up window says "Error on loading chart data for QQQQ Default': Unable to change order. Please assign addition....same text as above"
Again, this is a clean install of NT 7 release.
Works perfect on NT 6.5
