Indicator on Indicator .. what can I do?

Modifying an indicator with an indicator .. where can I be going wrong?

Simple, I think ... just my first time so please be kind ... already trying for 2 hours
Could not find a resolution after searching ... and I think I am following the F1 format correctly ...

The following double works in the strategy,

b1_EMD2_Upper[0] = EMDT(BarsArray[1],iEMD2delta,iEMD2fraction,iEMD2period).UpperBand[0];

and now I want a 5 period CMO of that, but none of the following is accepted (and yes, I need that 'upperband'),

update: NT support suggests/recommends using DataSeries instead of the double for this ... will update further if there are issues with that

Try something like this (untested).

private DataSeries b1_EMD2_Upper;

b1_EMD2_Upper = new DataSeries(this);

b1_EMD2_Upper.Set(EMDT(BarsArray[1],iEMD2delta,iEMD2fraction,iEMD2period).UpperBand[0]);

b1_cEMD66_upper.Set(jhlCMO(b1_EMD2_Upper, 5)[0]);

b1_EMD2_Upper = new DataSeries(this);

b1_EMD2_Upper.Set(EMDT(BarsArray[1],iEMD2delta,iEMD2fraction,iEMD2period).UpperBand[0]);

That is what I ended up with ... but then the strategy has a mix of doubles and dataseries in the BIP=1 conditions for trade entry and doesnt run at all ... not anything in Ouput Window, no 'message' in control centre status area and nothing in LogTab ... I decided to make a custom indicator for the effort to allow all doubles in the BIP =1 ... thanks for the assist
