Hi, I am wondering if there is a link here on Big Mike's or at the Ninja trader forum, that has a download to allow Ninja trader 6.5 or NT7 to work off "Range Bars" instead of say OHLC or candles. So just wondering if anyone can let me know how to get Ragne Bar charts happening on NT. Thanks, Don

Right click on the chart, under period click on "type" and select "range", or click on any chart at type the instrument followed by the chart type. For example typing "CL 12-10 8R", would load an 8 range CL December 2010 contract chart, "AAPL 30M" would load a 30 minute apple chart, etc. Use V for volume charts and T for tick charts.

Hey Don , I tried the search in downloads here but the NT indis arent in alphabetical order and couldnt find range ALT bars or point O range and the others - frustrating . They are in here somewhere maybe refine the search differently , sorry . Range bars are standard on NT though .

Thanks for your help. I now have up a range chart on NT, for some reason no data is going through to the chart. I will have to have a play with it to see if I can get data happening. Do you have any idea why data is not flowing.? It will flow into a 5 minute chart. The market is thin right now but volume is happening , so not sure why it wont print on a range chart.
Thanks again, Don
Thanks Eric, have a look at Vegasfosters instructions, you can bring up a range bar chart. I have just got to figure out why data is not flowing. I haven't been using NT that long, still working it all out. Tks, don

Glad to help . I dont know what data you got coming in but if you disconnect the data and go to tools ---> options ---> misc. ---> repair data base that may help . If its coming up on a 5 min. then the data is coming in so that should be the fix .
@Eric j, you can sort alphabetically or whatever you want...
