I copied and am pasting this from NT8 customer service:
Renko charts are one of the default chart types in NinjaTrader 8.
To select a Renko chart type in a currently open chart in NinjaTrader 8:
Right-click on the chart
Select Data Series
Under Type > Select Renko
Select OK
To select a Renko chart type in a new chart in NinjaTrader 8:
Utilize the Control Center
Select Charts
Input Instrument
Under Type > Select Renko
Select OK
