I could never get used to their trading platform; sticking with Tradestation 9.5 because of that.

The new platform appears to be very much geared towards NT brokerage clients.

Similar to what @Fat Tails was talking about, the only way that I can find to change this back to the previous nomenclature is to login to the client dashboard and change it there. However, as a user, and not a brokerage client, that doesn't appear to be possible. @NinjaTrader if there's another way to do this, please advise.

Good evening to all.
I am in apex evaluation with NT8 and nothing is changed. Apex sent me an e-mail telling me not update. That is all I know

Hello,

Thank you for the post.

NinjaTrader Desktop remains Free to use and does not require a brokerage account to download. Please see here for instructions on how to download - NinjaTrader Desktop Installation Guide

To access the download, users do need to create a free NinjaTrader user account. All that is required is a valid email address. From there, you can get access to current and previous downloads, view our live streaming and educational content and more - none of which requires a NinjaTrader Brokerage account.

We hope this helps, thank you.

Disclosure: This communication is sent to you by NinjaTrader, LLC, a software development company which owns and supports all proprietary technology relating to and including the NinjaTrader trading platform.

Not sure if it is related, although I suspect so. I am a Tradovate user. NT now owns TV. This week there was an outage where I could not use the desktop or mobile to get out of a trade and their trade desk was having similar issues. Did ultimately go flat after an hour. I hope they fix whatever the problem was.

It is also important to note that NinjaTrader Desktop remains Free to use and does not require a brokerage account to download - NinjaTrader Desktop Installation Guide

As always, you can contact our support team with any additional questions.

Thank you.

could you tell us why ninja trader does not allow vendor reviews from clients that bought trader stuff from vendors in the eco system ? some are good vendor while others are criminals , is there some reason you protect the criminals selling products in the app store ?

The new update is all about integrating Tradovate into their ecosystem that they purchased last year.

The back end at the 250ms delay still there.

Personally I have not updated and wont be doing so, and judging by the raft of people I have seen that are no having issues I would wait until the release the next update or maybe 2 before id even think about it.

as the old adage goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

The new "look" is ok, I have some issues with connection that have not happened in the past. Also there seems to be a bit of lag now in the DOM, would be nice if they would actually improve the DOM as it is weak, weak, weak.

Exactly. My experience tells me to do the same.
I definitely do not like the new website, but that is not an issue.
