I had problems with the feed today as well, lost some money due to it...it froze for a while

S*** happens I guess.

Hopefully it will straighten itself out by tomorrow.

On the bright side, I didn't do anything stupid after the fed announcement!

If your data is freezing double check if you have aggregated quotes ON or OFF. Most 3rd party platform will also have a way to toggle this on or off.

If you have aggregated quotes (ON) you will get 4 updates per second for the current price. If you have aggregated quotes (OFF) you will get HUGE floods of data/ticks every time there is a big move.

Hint: If you are seeing real-time data, but your charts are lagging, you most likely are experiencing this issue and need to be on aggregated quotes.

For R Trader and R Trader Pro (Launch the login)

To the right of System for data login - Aggregated Quotes (OFF) or (ON)

>Click on it to make it yellow and ON.

I use Rithmic's RApi for 6 weeks and have had issues with intermittent bugginess from the beginning. I used to email them every trading day, because I had so many if statements to find these intermittent bugs.

I got tired of emailing and sending my logs just for no response. Twice they've said they've found the issue, it worked for a few days then buggy again. Particularly with intraday historical data.

I sort of quit last week after they basically said "we will reach out when we figure it out". I'm not holding my breath for them to reach out.

It just sucks that I've spent so many hours developing my system for Rithmic.

Today I was unable to refresh my 7 charts with intraday tick data....after 6 hours !
Now I am using Multicharts which I believe also uses the RApi thru their Rithmic plug-in.
From what I've been told, the RTraderPro of Rithmic does NOT use the RApi to fetch the data.

Several times now, their tech support showed data in RTraderPro but it was missing from my charts.
It's been my contention that the RApi is problematic.
