Interactive Broker is finally offering cryptos, which should work well with NT8.

Thanks.
I wouldn't mind changing to IB, but they only seem to have a few currencies.

Baby steps, ya know?

I believe IB will add more cryptos down the road in the future. What's best is that Ninjatrader supports crypto directly ,use multi-broker license without subscribing to other 3rd party provider like ninjatools.studio.

Hey,

I know one can trade bitcoin futures and some ETF like blok on IB, did I miss something?
After using a startpage search I found this from June2021:

Interactive Brokers will start trading cryptocurrencies on its platform by the end of the summer, said Chairman and CEO Thomas Peterffy.
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/06/09/interactive-brokers-will-offer-crypto-trading-by-the-end-of-the-summer.html

Any more info on that?

Cheers

I have MBT and BTCUSD on my charts for a while. they are different.

- MBT has much smaller future contract volume than BTCUSD.
- BTCUSD - 24 hours trading
- MBT - Trading hours is based on CME trading schedule https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/cryptocurrencies/bitcoin/micro-bitcoin.contractSpecs.html
- MBT has the leverage due to future/margin compared to BTCUSD (straight "cash" coin) - unless you use other crypto exchanges that have 3x-100x leverage.

Hope it helps.

IB

Are you not afraid of IB´s snapshot data? During periods of faster movements the candles could show the wrong prices.
Mostly i´m trading of the 2M chart. Is there a refresh option in NT which corrects the data constantly?
When i was with SC and IB there was such an option (every 5s the chart could be refreshed)

Can you post the screenshots here to show the difference?

1m is better than 5s, just my opinion. It depends on your indicators, etc.

See BTCUSD chart.

I use Over Flow VWAP and my custom indicator for trading BTCUSD without any issues.

Found the similar issue what you just described. See here:

The latest NT8 will take care of the data snapshot issues, I believe. After I updated my NT8, the problem went away.
