The past few weeks I've been having memory/RAM issues with NT8.
My memory use will start off fine but then slowly creep up. Seems to start once markets are open. Sometimes, the memory will garbage collect/dump back to normal levels but then start the climb again. Other times, it never stops and crashes the computer it's running on.
The strangest thing of all is that if the RAM usage is increasing and I start interacting with the platform - meaning click on chart tabs, click on control panel tabs, scroll through orders tab, etc. - the RAM usage will dump back to the normal level, as if it was sleeping or needed a reminder to operate properly. If I don't click on anything and just watch the RAM usage, it will keep increasing until I click things. The crashes have all come overnight when I'm not interacting with the platform.
I've tried it on multiple computers/servers with 32GB of RAM and it happens on all. Different versions of Windows also.
I run a lot of automated strategies but the thing is, I've had no issues with them for years and now all of a sudden I'm getting this issue on all computers I try to run them on.
Anyone have any similar issues or know of any solutions to this? Appreciate any and all help.

Do you have these issues when NT is not running your strategies?
You'll need to test a totally clean NT install and then, if there are no issues, add in things one at a time until the problem happens. That will tell you where it is.
If a clean, no-indicator, no-strategy NT install has it, then contact NT support because it's their issue then. Otherwise, look at whatever you have running until you find it.
The fact that you never had this issue before, using your strategies, does make it look like NT made some recent change (possibly to something that your strategies use or depend on), but the way to locate it is still to go one at a time, adding in things until you locate where it happens. Then you can zero in on what is going on between that code and NT.
Good luck. This kind of thing can drive you crazy, even if you use a one-at-a-time, systematic approach, but this will find it.

I don't have issues with NT when not running the strategies. I also don't have issues if the strategies are connected to Sim101. The memory leak only occurs when connected to my live account, which seems a little strange.
I agree that it's likely something they changed in the background that my strategies rely on since it just started happening. I'll try and figure out how to apply the one-at-a-time approach without too much downtime hopefully. Appreciate the suggestion, Bob.
Tried the previous version of NT - same issues unfortunately.
Nothing from the Utilization Monitor. BarType Daily and BarType OHLC were the highest and below that were all the strategies. Nothing seemed too high in terms of CPU utilization.
I tried to get help from NT but received no real help. Even though I provided direct contradictions to what they claimed "should" be the case, they just said "custom strategy needs to be reduced"... So I guess it's time to go into troubleshooting mode on my own.
