Here is another prettier version.
I have done away with a lot of the superfluous stuff in this one and started using pathgradient.
Can't begin to understand most of it yet but work in progress - still keeping me from interfering with the trades so all is well!

Again - it's not the prettiness that's important but the concept that can be used eg FatTails great chart of the Forex instrument time zone settings.

I am working on another version at the moment but having to call in help as I can't get to grips with this path thing...

the LinearGradientBrush can also be another option

Code
public override void Plot(Graphics graphics,Rectangle bounds,double min,double max)
        {
            LinearGradientBrush grad = new LinearGradientBrush(bounds,Color.FromArgb(100,Color.White.R,Color.White.G,Color.White.B),Color.FromArgb(100,Color.Blue.R,Color.Blue.G,Color.Blue.B) ,LinearGradientMode.Vertical);

            graphics.FillRectangle(grad,bounds);

            this.ZOrder = -1;
        }

FYI - the backgroundGradient may disappear if you add indicators after you have loaded this indicator.
Its to do with the ZOrder but anything else other than -1 interferes with everything else so you will just have to live with this small quirk.

Still can't figure out how to make the GradientBrush the back Color but working on it.

Try also smaller time frame,, like 2 Better Renko .. looks really good with 6E,, try it on sim and take the reversal bars with 6 tick stop loss.. . you will get occational stop outs ofcause , but you will get great runners aswell..

Working on an improved version of a pretty chart indicator. My idea is shown below. Not sure how to use the trend lines yet.

Ooooooooooooh, so trading is artistic ?

Me think that the background should be reflecting the market trend not market romance or luv-ma......

Fat, please make the background to show trending .

The market is in a downtrend as the background shows. When the bulls take over the picture will slightly change and alert you, some parts moving just a bit up.
