As ur asking for an indicator I would say a difference study would help so you could plot the diff between the two and judge relative movement of both to eachother.

I have looked into overlayed charts. Would like to add indicators.
Knowing what indicators work best with pair trading helps.

Although I have never used it for a strategy, you could try starting with the correlation indicator in NT8.
