Hello! Id like to know if its possible to add custom text to the fibonacci indicator in Ninjatrader 8. I talked to the ninjatrader support, ive searched in the forum but with no success, Id like to know if someone knows if this is possible and if perhaps someone can add that code to the default indicator.

Hi cronosis. Do you mean the Fibonacci drawing tool which is accessed from the chart's menu? Or one of the built-in fibonacci-based indicators (cluster etc)?

Awesome, heres what Id like to do; the Fibo in MT4 lets you add custom text to the levels you determine, for example:
- STOP LOSS
- RR1
- RR2

Thats what Id like to do in Nt8

You can make a copy of it then add your own coding.

I can edit the Fibonacci tools in the ninjatrader script editor, but Im not sure what or where should I add the "custom text" option for the Fibonacci retracement levels. Can you guide me with that? Im still ver new to coding.

actually fib is built in so there is no coding to copy but there are many risk/reward indicators with text https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/user-app-share-results/?fwp_usa_search=risk

I checked them out but they all base the RR either on a fixed ratio or size account, my RR is based off of fibo levels based on fractals which are dinamic, that’s why I was looking just for the feature to add text to the fibo tool for visual help.. such a shame that something like Mt4 has it built in but it’s not in ninja trader.
