Create a Rebound Strategy with Bollinger Band Rebound Entry without fail entries
Dear All and Hi Traders and Programmers,
i'm a absolutely beginner in C# but i want try and learn it and
want create under NT8 in 15min timeframe my own retracement bot by using the Bollinger Band
with an normal rebound entry like this:
if ((CrossAbove(Close[1], Bollinger1.Lower, 1)))
{
EnterLong(Convert.ToInt32(DefaultQuantity), @"GetLong");
}
Futures later on should be: FDAX in Mini or Mircro and later on also EUR/ USD in Mini or mircro so too.
Problem is:
If i have and down trend or movement to running and the market does a small correction in direction to
Long he take this so too and go Long with Rebound. But few bars later he droped out due to he cross the stopp down stears.
Later on the real Rebound cames and he take it so too normally and goes Long.
But i just wanna have the real rebounds or swings to above means if the trend or movent of price turns to Long like after an hammer or
after an key reversal pattern like a bullish spike. How can i do that?
Do i need to counts bars? No idea how to find lower highs and higher lows and so on.
Should i use the Elder Impulse system for exp. in one our timeframe to see the upper trend and exchange then the 15 min timeframe with lower risk?
Should i look for a additional confirmation like and add. SMA 4 or 8 to the BB Rebound entry and if the price crossed both i should go Long?
Can anybody tell me how i can attach a *.cs script and *.ppt file that to explain the whole thing better, what would be nice.
And sorry for my simple English.

Make sure to wrap and code with the code tags in your message reply toolbar. It makes your post much much more readable and you're more likely to get assistance.
If you're just starting out with C#, I agree that the strategy builder is an excellent tool. Play around with different entry and exit logic to see how they are automatically coded for you.

yes i'm familar witrh Strsatgegy Builder in NT8. I use the Demo Version but i use mnny times this tool so too.

i have played oround with different entries and exits logics to see how it works. Yes the compiler code all things very well. It's a very good NT script Editor.
But i found no solution due to the tradering side means how to manage that i get the rebound for expample for long on the right stage.
Therefore i have atttached a small ppt-File to explain my issue or problem i have. (Rebound Long.ppt)
I think it's going more about the strategy or how to find the right rebound long in Long direction from trend or movement of the price. (same direction)
So how to identify the upper Long direction in trend or movement (2 times SMA and so on or identify swing lows and swing hifhs?) and then
how to handle it in the lower timeframe?
And if so how to progam this? Just with Bars array or something like that or different to that?
And if so how to get managed that you see the second timeframe so too in the strategy on screen
like you can see it on the normal chart if you display two different time frames in one screen.

If you're wanting to do multi timeframe analysis, there is a generic example in the NT8 documentation. Here is a link to that. I will say, multiple timeframe indicators and strategies have some tricky stuff in it so if you're not a decent programmer, see the link below.
