I need a developer who can write a code for mouse click ordering for BuyStop and SellStop order from the chart (not from chart-trader)
Willing to compensate the developer.
Thanks.

Would prefer to avoid using keyboard combination.
Only chart highlight something similar to innovative trading from Ninza.co but WITHOUT extra features like LMT, SLMT and MKT orders.

With a gaming mouse like Razer's Naga Trinity you can program key board hot key custom commands to any of 12 buttons on the side of the mouse. If you want to place a limit or stop order away from price you can place a Limit Sell as a target for example at ask + x ticks and then drag it to where you want it. Buttons can be configured to adjust last order placed by a tick +/-.

In your trading software you should have a HotKey Manager... depending on what they allow you to do you would set up a HotKet macro combination like Alt+Ctrl+Up(arrow) to buy and Alt+Ctrl+Dn(arrow) to sell and then you pair up the Marcos with custom Order Entry commands so you could create an order (for example) Buy Bid + 1 tick, or Market, or Buy Bid - 2 ticks... whatever suits your trading style.

Your mouse should have an app that allows you to re-assign some of the buttons. I've looked at a pix of the MX and there seems to be two side buttons plus a scroll wheel. Re-assign the upper button to be Alt+Crtl+Up and the bottom to be Alt+Ctrl+Dn. In Ninja there is the Order command to adjust last order entry by +/- one tick.... you might try creating 2 additional macros so that scrolling up moves your order up a tick and scrolling down lowers it.

I use the down click of the mouse wheel to close a position.

Get back in touch if you have any other problems. I have done this with the 502 but found the button layout awkward. With the Naga Trinity you have 14 buttons.... gotta love that.

I've been using keyboard-based hotkeys for my order entries for the last year or so - this thread is a nice reminder to try out my mouse instead!

imuir >>>

A program like this already exists :O

It is called ClickTrader

Just search for it on the forums.

I don't remember where I found it.

But it is available.

It puts limits and stops on the chart with just a mouse click

Thank you Glennts for chiming in.
I've made the following assignments, but they still do not execute. Any suggestions?

Can you run those macros using your keyboard?

If you can then the problem is with the mouse..( I'll look to find the manual and see what it says about this)

If you can't then the problem is with NT and likely how the macros were set up.

Went to logitech and under Performance MX or any other type category cannot find anything to match your mouse.

I use NT7 so opened NT8 created a macro and got a "modal form" warning. If you are using an always-on-top setting for your trading chart then hotkeys do not work....

The macro's I created that matched yours did work on this end....?
