Hi, I am a Ninjatrader user, I intend to subscribe to bookmap. By subscribing to the rithmic data subscription from bookmap, could I also connect Ninja?
Thanks for your help.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I don't use ninjatrader so I can't tell you for sure, but bookmap does support both rithmic as a data provider and the ninjatrader client itself as a data provider. Meaning you can just connect ninjatrader to whatever datafeed you want and then connect bookmap to it.
Keep in mind that Rithmic supports MBO data for the CME. Ninjatrader aggregates this data, so if you're using Bookmap through ninjatrader you'll lose some of the finer details.
Hi Ivo, thanks for your reply.
I have seen that I can subscribe to Rithmic data directly from bookmap and I prefer not to link ninja to bookmap but use this data for both bookmap and ninjatrader. It seems to me that by smiling at Rihmic's data, two platforms can be connected.
I also asked on the Ninja forum, I'm waiting for answers.
I wonder if anyone who subscribed to rithmic via bookmap has also connected some other platform in particular ninjatrader.
I am using bookmap through rithmic and I've used the same connection for both bookmap and RTrader, so I don't think using it with ninja will be a problem.
The only issue would be getting professional data feed pricing, but I think that's if you use more than 2 platforms. I'm not 100% sure though, it's worth checking.
