quickly dragging and dropping simple text onto a chart in realtime
Support at Ninja says there is no way:

Stephen, unfortunately I'm not aware of another solution as hitting F12 to be able to enter short text note and move it to the desired chart location then.
======================================================
but not a simple one - it can be done with an indicator.
you have to go in the code + put in the text you want to see.
but its not fast changable then.
but if its some text / rules i E that stay fix, that would be a solution for you.
if i have time later, i will have a look if i can find it.
have a look at these 2 - they put text on the chart + hold the possition.
but both concepts need a bit of coding to make them print what you want -
so its no 3-seconds-solution but the text will stay at the same place like this.
i heard about a request of a textbox in the chart showing some during trading needed infos.
i had some time today and made this as a posting now for all.
this is a code-example for making a such a textbox with live-infos …
1) left click desired comment
2) Ctrl-C
3) Ctrl-V
4) drag to destination
5) move arrow away
6) left click
...can't be applied, is that correct? Maybe I'm not getting what you're saying.
{I might have a good idea to this if one only uses X minute bars, but I just
like Kase right now.}
Is there any type of image file that can be dragged onto a chart,
that is, a file with such and such an extension? If the file is an image,
yet the image is text, that would be fine.
Attachment shows various file extensions from BMP down to TIF.
(The 'HH' at the bottom right would be typical of what I'm thinking about.)
It might be possible to use the SendKeys function of Windows
Script Host regarding this problem. I'm not a programmer so I
really don't know. I also can't find a key that opens the text
window after hitting F12. I know the left mouse button does it.
Maybe this would be useful for people that use A LOT of text in
their charts. The idea would be to have the script run and create
all those common words and phrases towards the top of the chart.
One could then do a copy/paste/drag/drop to where ever it was needed.
After X or XX minutes all those words and phrases would be off the screen
to the left of course. One would have to run the script once again.
After looking at Mikes video I would think that this idea would NOT
be useful for those that use, HH,HL, and a very few other abbreviations.
I think NT makes it hard. Why not just hit F12, "my text" ,move mouse, left click?
