It seems repaint problem.
The above chart is real-time generated in NT7
You can find blue and red dots are plotted in same time.
But I dont find smi5 repaint in NT6.5.

I upload the setting.
Thanks max-td!

This is bad NT7 programming, possibly because of a direct port from NT6.5 without making the needed changes in the plotting. Plots need to be reset if the conditions no longer exist in NT7. Also there could be one plot used instead of two and just change the plot color as conditions change (preferred).

If one looks closely, one can see both the RED and BLUE dots have plotted at the same time (10:45 - 10:50 on your chart example). I have noticed that, too. I have also noticed several other indicators that I used to use in NT6.5, once moved over to NT7, that also seem to paint two plots at the same time. Maybe set it to CalculateOnBarClose = TRUE. Then it will only paint the dot once the price bar has completed. I don't think it's anything specific to SMI5, since I have noticed this same problem with other indicators, too.

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
