Jeff,

Which Trading Time Indicator do you use? As far as the news indicator, I simply check the source website [forexfactory.com] as part of my pre-trading routine and make note of time of news with higher impact in the market.

Hey Chris,

I"ll attach the cs. of the "Trading Time" indicator that I use. (ninja 6.5)

I use to do what you do on the news.........only I used to get it from Barrons.com......as my pre-market routine but the indicator on the chart eliminates that step and serves as a constant reminder for me......

If you are trading ES, then I would add TICK, although it is a second data set and not an indicator.

Yes.....excellent point......which really was the idea behind the original post........that the best indicators are NOT really "indicators" at all.

Actually, my trading has improved since I have stopped looking at indicators. I do like multiple timeframes though. (15,30 and 60 minute charts)

Yeah......I'm with you on volume.......it is on my chart but I know that I need to learn to use it better. (I really only use volume for my reversal bar set up) I also like my Reversals 6.1 paint bar study.........that alone has given me more insight to market action than any "indicator" ever has.

Team

Lets all reflect on 2011 and discuss what 3 indicators were the best.

Which ones you will use in 2012.

What Trading goals would you like to achieve in 2012.

What 2 or 3 High Probability set-ups are you going to focus on in 2012.
