I am looking to export data from NinjaTrader 7 to Excel. I do not intend to do this online, but I want to run indicators or strategies on NinjaTrader and then export the results.

I must admit that I am not a programmer and do not fully understand yet, how to use Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel or the NinjaDDE utility.

Does anybody have a coded example, how to transfer data from NinjaTrader to Excel, so that I can copy parts of it to speed up the learning process?

Do you mean a "live" export, or a static one, using a formatted .csv/.txt ?

Not sure whether I understand this question.

I do not want to export the OHLC of my data base, but some results, and the indicator or strategy would be required to write those directly to an Excel sheet. I do not need to access that Excel sheet in real-time.

I'm not sure whether I understand your first question or not .
What I've done before is indicators which were computing things, and were writing (or not) some of these results in a .csv file. I think I have an example here on futures.io (formerly BMT), a ZigZag indicator which was writing the date, the lo/hi of the wave, and the length of the swing in the appropriate column.
But this is just writing in a file, with the appropriate format, I don't think it's what you're looking for, too simple.

If you show me the example, I can check, whether it does, what I am looking for.

That was something posted in the Elite forum, so file sent using PM.
