Are you wanting the Triangular Moving Average bands? Is this not stock in NT7 and NT8?

Just thinking...the Belkhayate Center of Gravity is similar to TMA, although it does repaint. Again, still probably not what you are looking for but wanted to throw it out there.

Hello, days ago i was looking for it and i found it last night. Thank you.

Other question, how do u use them? I use them as a "sign of trend" using it in a higher timeframe. But only for that.

Im always happy to read other points of view.

Hello,

well to use the TMA Bands for your trading you need to know what you are dealing with. These Bands are often sold by pointing out some historical trades off the bands and thats just ridiculous. They are repainting the Bars defined in "HalfLength" and that's fine. It is quite similar in concept like a linear regression channel.

I like this indicator because it gives you a quick (and beautiful) view of historical price swings and direction. For trading itself they can be used together with supply and demand zones or/and an oscillator for mean reversion and trend trading.

There is no magic included so like with every other tool, you need to have a solid trading plan and be able to read price action. But if you use it to "buy low and sell high" i find this indicator pretty valuable.

Cheers,
Mike

Yes, of course.

First of all is check PriceAction what buyers n sellers are doing... and after that the indicators is just for draw with "figures (for example, the bands" what the PA is telling me.

I dont trade only indicators, for my point or view is a "Suicide" hahaha. But im always happy to read what the other traders are watching with the "same thing".

Can i ask what is ur pink/magenta at the candles? Is the POC?

Anyway that is a good chart. Ty for sharing it.

The Magenta Map is kind of an on chart volume profile to see where the most volume has traded over the last X bars.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for sharing your TMA bands, I’ve been using TMA for a long time but never considered an envelope version of the ma. I haven’t had a chance to test it yet - does it constantly recalculate (repaint) or does it post fixed values?

Thanks!
