I have had no issues like that, but I have complained to NinjaTrader about a feature that worked in prior versions but doesn't work in the 19.0 version. Namely the Order Flow + RTH VWAP now doesn't start at the referenced RTH trading hour when using an ETH trading hour chart.
This is going to be fixed in the next revision apparently, but I picked this error up in pre-release 19.0 testing and it still wasn't fixed for the retail release. I was disappointed with that as I use VWAP a lot for my trading. I rolled back to the prior version waiting for a fix.

Whenever I download I put the install file into a folder named the version I am downloading. I can then go back at anytime.
Did you save your chart templates? You could try rebuilding a brand new workspace from the ground up. Sometimes that really helps to solve some issues causing slow loads times etc.

I just did a full backup before I downloaded the latest version and let it run so I'm assuming if I can dl the previous version and reinstall the backed up file all will be well again.
I've tried to Google how to install the previous version but every page is met with the NT maintenance page.

If you go to the Existing Users download page where you get the latest Release, you will find a link/option to download previous versions.
If you take a look at the Release Notes for R19 you will see a Note: Attention Developers regarding coding methods. They have enforced changes which will break some 3rd parties' who were not adhering to the requirements. In case it may be related to your problems.
Thanks I did it. At the time their site was down so wasn't sure if their was another way but got it all sorted and back working just fine on the prior version. Won't be making that mistake again.
