Two 'NinjaTrader Brokerage' brokers sharing the same real-time data feed?
The NinjaTrader platform is a completely new environment to me (currently on MultiCharts).
Before I jump all in to NinjaTrader, I am considering this configuration in NT8 for futures trading … setting up two different broker trading accounts, both through NinjaTrader Brokerage: (i) Phillip Capital (ii) Dorman Trading. (I won’t bore the readers with the story as to why).
In NT8, can I trade both of these Futures accounts simultaneously whilst sharing the same real-time data feed? (Therefore, avoiding the need for subscribing to two data packages?)
Could you please provide your thoughts on this configuration? Also, any links on the NT website would be appreciated.
Ninjatrader can not handle multiple datafeeds simultaneously
You would have a single connection with datafeed
and 2 broker connections,
that works fine
then according to the account you select the order would go to the right connection
@NinjaTrader CAN handle multiple datafeeds simultaneoulsy. It will set priority by connection order. I do this daily and have no issues. Also a Muti-Broker license is needed for more than one broker used.
NinjaTrader supports multiple brokerage account connections simultaneously however, this is also dependent on the brokerage technology we are using. We will be releasing in the new week or so an alternate implementation of our CQG/Continuum interface using their Web Services API that supports simultaneous connections across different FCM's. In short, you can do what you want with our upcoming release.

I am still completing due diligence and I am wondering if the NT8 multiple account enhancement described in your FIO post has been successfully implemented?
It is a feature that is important to what I am trying to achieve.
The API that supports this was implemented and released several weeks ago. If you wanted to use this (WEB API) then you would need to let your broker know.
