Transferring drawing lines from one chart to another in Ninja
Ok - I've some idea for someone with excellent NT coding skills.
Few months back I saw a trendline alert indicator; that was iterating over all chart objects (lines, rays) and register them for alert. Same strategy can be applied here.
My proposed indicator will periodically read all 'chart objects' from given chart and save/merge (serialize) the details into a study file (one file per symbol - or configurable in indicator setting). The same 'study file' can be used to re-draw those 'chart objects' on different chart for same symbol.
Lets also throw this problem on main NT forum. Some staffs are pretty knowledgeable and helpful. We may get lucky...
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I had requested an enhancement where you can copy/move charts to different workspaces OR be able to save individual charts outside the confines of a workspace. But they have their hands full to even think of enhancements.
aviat,
- well - its nothing that NT-guys want to integrate as a function - so they say : "we give it to our further list ...... blabla" - we know this talk yet from somewhere
but maybe we can get help there for coding this as "officialy un-supported function" .
Ninja Ray promised that in the officialy un-supportedcoding area they will give more help then in the past !
he personaly gave this promise here at his futures.io (formerly BMT)-webinar.
he also said they hired a coder especialy for this unsupport things + that they offer a place at the forum where guys can get support for officialy unsupported stuff + ideas !
trhats the place the project has to go!
and that is a point now where we can test if they really do what they promise !
so TraderSU, if you get the answer : sorry but this is not supported - please make them remember what Ray himself told us , not only told us, he promised that - live here at futures.io (formerly BMT) ! -- his webinar is recorded BTW
