When will ACH be available for foreign (EU) customers to withdraw?

Plaid (which NT uses for ACH) supports only US banks.

When withdraw frequently, paying $50 every time for an International Wire Transfer adds up.

Thank you.

Hi,

Response from our head of FCM operations. If you have additional questions, please submit an inquiry here as it will be routed to the individual(s) best qualified to provide additional insight.

Ray

• When will ACH be available for foreign (EU) customers to withdraw.
ANS: Currently there are no restrictions. In fact, NACHA reported over 100 million international payments, which were worth a combined total of well over 200 billion USD. The issue is not a Plaid or Yodlee limitations. The main barrier to sending international ACH payments is that not all banks can offer this service just yet. Customers will need to double check with their own bank whether or not international ACH transfers are available for retail customers before the customer starts to process a payment.

• Plaid (which NT uses for ACH) supports only US Banks.
ANS: I believe Plaid and Yodlee both support international ACH’s but only in country treasury movements. For example, if a customer wants to transfer via ACH Euro, both Plaid and Yodlee will allow a Euro payment in Europe. I will double check the enclosed and share the response I receive. Also, as part of our 2023 roadmap I will be looking at Funding and all available options.

• When withdraw frequently, paying $50 every time for an international wire transfer adds up.
ANS: We acknowledge the cost of international wires is not cheap for the customer and/or NT. We are constantly reviewing our cost structure with a focus on reducing the charges from our custody bank – BMO. We are in the process of opening a SEPA account with Barclays which may allow us to reduce the cost of an international wire transfer. We hope to have the SEPA account opened before the end of the year.

Hi,
due to the new regulations in Germany starting in 2023 it's not allowed to offer futures trading to German customers without a negative balance protection.

What do you offer to the German customers? I haven't heard anything regarding this topic.

Thanks,
Koepisch

Hello,

Thank you for your note.

We are aware of the German regulations and are currently discussing with our compliance team.

That said, there are no plans to make any changes in the immediate future.

Should that change, we plan to communicate directly with our German clients.

Thank you.

Any chance we can get an external look at the feature requests that are constantly referenced on NT8?

So often we see people make a request to only be replied by a CSR that that request exists and they've added their support to that request. If you really want to see what people want, let them see the requests so they can really gauge interest. Some people might not even realize certain things could/should be better.

Cool. Let us here know about it also if anything changes in case we want to move to Germany.

Hello,

Thank you for the note.

We appreciate the suggestion, however, at this time we do not have any plans to publicly list all feature requests.

Thanks.

@NT Brokerage

Hi,

In your recent release (8.0.27.0) you mentionned "we have updated our core internal database technology from the deprecated Microsoft SQL CE to SQLite".

I have switched computer last week as i bought a new computer and before proceeding i made a backup using version (8.0.26.1) on my old computer.

When i restored the backup on my new computer, i used the most recent version (8.0.27.0). I got a few errors with some chart templates (namely some xml files). Apparently, there was an indicator that was causing Ninjatrader to raise an XML error while restoring some chart templates. After identifying the faulty indicator, i recompiled it using version (8.0.27.0) and that solved the problem. That's weird as the same indicator never produces any error on all prior versions of Ninjatrader.

However, i am writing this note mainly to try to understand why when i initiate a backup on my new computer using version (8.0.27.0), it does not seem to export the portion of historical data that have been restored from my previous backup done with version (8.0.26.1). It is as if the backup i was doing could only includes the chart data which have been recorded since i installed version (8.0.27.0). All prior data which have been restored are excluded from the back up.

Is it possible that this is due to your passage from the deprecated Microsoft SQL CE to SQLite and the fact i restored a backup done with version (8.0.26.1) ?

I hope my long explanation is clear.

Ray-

I’m glad to see the order entry capability within the Market Analyzer Alert function window. However, can you please enable a position size limit (“not to exceed X” contracts) as well as a time filter to this function?
