Hi All,
I have a Tradestation DLL that I purchased a few years ago, Unfortunately the vendor has only released the tool for Tradestation. The DLL takes in a time series and creates an indicator.

So has anyone been able to use the Tradestation DLL with Ninjatrader? Thought I’d ask before looking into it..
Regards,
iq

AFAIK TS DLL are not a C# assembly so Ninja won't accept it.
And even if it was accepted it won't help as it's supposed to run in TS only, calling it from another platform won't return anything.

Yes (there is also a MC .Net which supports C# and VB) but a DLL is not generate with EasyLanguage, it's usually built in C/C++.

its possible to get wrappers for DLLs, but you would likely need to hire a coder to do this.

A wrapper acts as a middleman, it feeds the DLL a format it expects, and forwards the output to somewhere else , in a defined format to another destination. you can think of it as emulating a small subset of tradestation for you.

Thanks for your post. I thought about developing a bridge but it’s too much effort for what it’s worth...
