Hi Looking for a simple solution to a simple (yet annoying) problem.
When im ready to enter a trade NT doesnt allow you to buy a $ amount of shares. As such I have to take a calculater and divide account balance / stock price to get the number of shares.
Is there a small toolbar or something I could add to NT that will just show me how many shares I can buy based on my account balance?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Before you put on a trade you need to know your risk, 5000(account) * 0.02 ( risk per trade ) = $100
es for example is 12.50( 1 contract) a tick you have 8 ticks of risk. I don't know your platform but there are platforms that you can modify the FIB tool to show you your risk areas I use to use the meta trader tools to show a 1-3 risk.
It sounds like you might not know what you want to loose before you get into a trade. Ninja shows your buying power right next to your account size if that's what your asking.
