I have NT7/8 Life license and I was wondering if there was ANY good auto traders out there that someone could recommend to me for USA futures trading while i am at work. I work a traditional 9 to 5 and dont have time to trade but would like the side hustle. I was googling yesterday and came across two, 12Trade Pro and Blue Wave Trading and I found old threads on here for both companies saying their systems are crap. I am a noob to NT and futures. I have about 6 months experience with futures...always been with forex, about 5 years worth of experience BUT I have a large trading account I would like to trade with but auto traders in the forex world are ALL built around and for non US brokers (shady shops) to get around FIFO, leverage etc. so I dont trust the bucket shops with my hard earned money. HELP! Thanks!

You may also want to check out the products from SharkIndicators (Bloodhound and Blackbird).

A couple of points especially if you have time constraints, and these are likely true for any automated trading system that you would be setting up yourself.

1. Although no programming is required setting up a trading strategy (Bloodhound) and trade management (Blackbird) can be extensive especially if your trading strategy is complex, and there is a learning curve which can be steep. Unless your trading strategy is very simple expect to spend a lot of time back and forward testing, making changes, and retesting.

2. It does not yet work with NT8 although it is being converted now and is in a restricted beta. No GA date is available from the vendor but my guess as a beta tester would be somewhere around year end.

3. Don't expect to be able to safely use this software (and maybe even any others) in a completely unattended mode. While the software will do all of the trade entries and exits, including protective stops and profit targets as set up by the user there are too many other things that can happen (hardware, power, i-net, ... problems) that can put you (and your account) at risk.

4. If you don't have a personalize trading strategy several partners have developed products that use BH/BB that can be purchased (note that you will still need to but the SI products). The points on testing and running them completely unattended still hold.

Hope this helps.

Well maybe not quite.

As I mention SharkIndicators have partners that have developed turnkey products that can be purchased and used with no modifications. However, as I pointed out they would still need to be tested until you are satisfied with the results. This is not to say they can be run completely unattended.

I have a vendor's product and even though the Bloodhound strategy cannot be changed, the supplied Blackbird trading strategy can and probably should be customized to meet individual requirements and trading style.

If you are still interested in researching this further I would suggest going to the the partners page on the SI site and seeing what each offer. Occasionally SI will "sponsor" a webinar where one or more partners demonstrate their product.

What you're looking for doesn't exist.

As you have already found via google, there ARE vendors selling strategies but probably not ones that you'd want trading your account...
