Looking for a good Auto Trader for NT 7 or NT 8 to trade futures for me
People with profitable fully flushed out trading systems won't sell them on the internet for reasonable prices to the general public. If they are profitable then the pathway to more profits is to scale them (Trade larger size, or multiple accounts, or multiple instruments). There is no logical reason anyone with a profitable strategy would do anything else. If there are systems advertised to make a killer profit that are reasonably priced you should be very afraid of the person selling them. They are either legally insane and are giving away free money for pennies on the dollar or they are scams..... I will let you guess which is more likely.
So what are we left with?
1. Indicator Salesman: Indicators alone do not generate profits, so buying proprietary indicators even if they seem cool, and have some value will not get you a profitable system overall.
2. Trading Guru's / Salesmen: Follow my plan, watch my videos, join my chat room, etc.... I don't think I need to comment here on the value of these, but it's obvious that if you are looking for automation, none of this will have any value assuming it had value to discretionary traders in the first place.
3. People with partially flushed out systems / profitable backtesting but not market tested: This group is probably your only real shot in my opinion. There are people that have a number of profitable systems on testing tools, but only have the time and capital to pursue one of these at a time. So for some people that may have 5 to 10 systems that are profitable via testing they can only pursue 2 or 3 of these with a live a account and then they shelve the rest. For this group, there may be value in having someone take all the risk and market test their systems that were profitable running backrests, market replay, live SIM, etc.
So I think in your case group 3 is what you are looking for. But in order to pitch to this group on here on Futures IO you would need to sell your value, as being willing to risk your money to test systems that only have only been successful on testing platforms and have never been tested in the real market. I think this would create a mutual benefit for both you and those that have developed these types of systems.
Best of luck!

In the analytical world there is no such thing as art, there is only the science you know and the science you don't know. Characterizing the science you don't know as "art" is a fools game.
I am using Ninjatrader at the moment, though that may soon change because it is too slow for what I really need it to do.
I am a developer by trade, so I code all my own trading strategies my self. I am not sure what exactly you would like to know, but I am happy to share some things.
I built all my own logic to handle cancels. I don't use any built in OCO logic because I need more complex logic. I co-locate to optimize my execution times, so I have a reasonable execution speed, but my biggest bottle necks are with the application handling the data feed.
There is no physical look to my system obviously, it's just code that runs in the background. I don't use Charts, DOM's or any visuals or anything. I do run print statements from time to time and refresh the old p&L occasionally but that's about it.
In terms of overall strategy logic... I don't try to predict direction, there are better edges out there than that.
