i would like to know which brokers and data feeds would people who use nt 7 and nt 8 recommend.

also, i'm most interested in trading the fdxm and the nikkei index, is there any broker who offers these instruments in addition to the most usual nymex, cme expensive products?

If you have autonomy and can go anywhere you want without complication, Interactive Brokers is far and away the best, in my opinion.

Currently Think or Swim. Past retail platforms; IB via NT, MBTrading via NT, Wave 59, Trade Station. I would answer questions of talk about any of those if it would help. Dan

excellent.

thanks for your reply.

i have had extensive experience with tradestation since 2012; the platform's charting is magnificent, but i haven't been able to make automated strategies work on live data (i will post more extensively on this at a later date) and ts's brokerage is the most expensive and limited there is.

right now i'm trying to convert into and test my ts automated strategies in ninjatrader, so i will get in contact with the people at interactive brokers to learn about their minimums and costs.
