Just saw this. A big thank you...what do you think of my work of art? Tells a definite story quite easy to read. Now I just need a sound alert to call me to the computer anytime of day:

Long Trade Rules:

--PriceLine (gold thick line) Above London (blue dash) and New York (red dash) Opening Price which has become pivot from prior days ala Baby Blue from Cory and Gab;
--Blue Wave (thanks to Time Trade) is blue;
-- Above is all above AaHoltEMA 256 Music Line;
--17 Music Line is above Blue Wave and aforementioned Baby Blue criteria;
--Six Moving Averages are above AaHolt17 Music Line
--AnaThrustBar Candle is Yellow denoting Upthrust Bar (thanks to Stephen and Fat Tails);
--Candle touching or nearly touching Music Line

What more can you ask for? (Price went to the 162% Extension!!)

Could anyone develop a Sound Alert for this setup?

lol nice!

Hi,

This is very good. Any chance you can post the indics and the template. Of course, if not possible (due to Elite), please post them in the Elite.

Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't have or use this template anymore.
The good news is everything that was in it is listed in
the post you quoted and all came from this forum,
except the Awesome Oscillator which you can find
on the NT Forum website.

Supertrend
Awesome Oscillator (from the NT Forum website)
anaHolt 256
Baby Blue Line
Ana Thrust Candles

That’s it. Enjoy. Let me know if you can't find something.

Here is MY GMMA.

The one that was posted fails to follow best practices for creating instances of external indicators.

Failure to observe these simple practices causes a large performance penalty.

There is no reason to code indicators the way the original version of this was coded.

Maybe after I post a few thousand more examples of how to do this......

Thank you.

Zondor, you've rekindled my interest, but may I ask you to post a screenshot as I'm having a small issue loading the CS file and want to make sure it is the correct one as I seem to have several indies named GMMA.

My version of the GMMA will appear in your indicator list as

GMMA (Guppy Multiple Moving Average)

Refer to the this.Name property setting in the Initialize method.

If you have any other GMMA.cs files, replace them with the one I posted.

I did this as a coding exercise. I don't think I would use this indicator myself.

But you wouldn't use the other one either. Haha.

I'm still experiencing issues but would like to upload it. The other GMMA I uploaded was a zip. So I won't receive any message that the CS file is a newer version and question whether I want to replace it, right?. I will just see one GMMA and I assume it is the same zip file from before, because it will look the same, too, right?

This is how I tried to import the CS (I've done it so many times but still have issues finding the indie.):

--- paste the CS file into the following directory: My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Indicator

--- Once complete, go to Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator > select any indicator > OK > once the NinjaScript Editor window opens press F5 on your keyboard to compile your NinjaScript files.

But I'm missing something.

@plethora

Try importing this ZondorGMMA.zip

The indicator will be listed as ZondorGMMA.cs

ZondorGMMA.cs

Done! Thank you, TMFT. I don't think I actually recompiled the first time around.

ETA: And thanks again, Zondor.

Yep, did not compile the first time around and now see the GUPPY MULTIPLE MOVING AVERAGE. OK, got this process down for the next time.
