HI, Hi

Im new to this forum but i found this forum when i was searching for footprint indicator. I had demo 1 to 1 with someone of noft trader, but saw that the indicator (Footprint Chart for NT8 ) on this forum can be exactly the same!

Can i use this footprint chart for forex ? does this works as fast and real time like i saw in demo of noft? and does this indicator show imbalances and buy and sell signals ?

If someone can answer this question, i hope that i can save 2000 dollar

Thank you

In order to make a footprint chart, you need volume

FX market is not centrally cleared, so the question is which volume ?
in best case, you will be talking about a 'proxy' for the volume of the
market.

There are many tools to make a footprint chart
and there are several methods to create a footprint chart

The deeper you dive into the problem, the more it tends to become
a religion...

The bottom line question for footprint charts is to see levels at
which significant volumes have been previously been traded, as well
to see the market distribution for the day and previous days

While for FX futures it is possible to do order flow analysis, i'm not
sure that is that correct for the FX market, it's more of a proxy
just my opinion

The secret (or the answer) is not in the indicator, but in the data provider

1) what data provider was NOFT using ?
2) what date provider will you be using ?

If you want to discuss NOFT you should post under the vendor review forum

Kinetic is a repackage of IQFeed, IQFeed currency feed is FXCM, so ultimately that is all the same

The software is not the same
There are tools on the forum that will allow you to create a footprint chart.
