Just see the pictures - I have not changed the settings - just applied the indicator (the settings shown were 14-11-10), then double-clicked on it in the chart and when dialog box opened the settings were 291-229-208.
Isn't it bizarre?

That is normal, if you read the code i posted, you can see :

Code
if (Bars.Period.Id == PeriodType.Month)	multFactor = 1;
			else if (Bars.Period.Id == PeriodType.Week) multFactor = 52.0/12.0; //52 weeks = 12 months. Must be explitly
																				//input as a double value, hence the .0
			else if (Bars.Period.Id == PeriodType.Day) multFactor = 250.0/12.0; //250 days = 12 months
When you use another chart than monthly, then the values are multiplied.
as you know the Coppock indicator was initially developed for monthly ES charts

You could edit and change the code if you want different behaviour

Hi @rleplae,

I am not a programmer but I have looked at the numbers and could see pretty consistent conversion ~20.8x - and I thought that it was referring to monthly charts. What confused me was that numbers have changed but the shape of the curve remained the same.

Thank you for your explanations and glad to see that functionality of it is as it meant to be.
And yes - I will try experimenting with conversion to lower timeframe.

Many thanks again,
romus

Yes there is a multiplication factor, depending of the time period
For week = 52/12
For day = 250/12
