Hi,
Will any of the Flexible / Box Market Profile tools from the Ninja partner vendors work with the EOD Daiily database in Ninjatrader 8 for a TPO and/or Volume profile?
I'm aware of Fin-alg, Ninza, and Ninjacators.
The critical requirement I am looking for is compatibility with Daily candle/bar data.
If not, do any of you know of a Market Profile tool that can use Daily bar data? Preferably a user drawn Box or DrawRegionX() tool, not a composite or recurring time interval tool.
Ideally I'd like a fast, convenient and stable way to construct a profile like the way a CBOT long term profile is constructed for a user defined high/low or time interval with 1 or 2 clicks of a mouse. And the ability to dig into the data of large and small swings without constantly configuring the indicator, taking screenshots, then reediting the screenshots to make a single picture. I've done that and it is very clumsy. Yes, I know large graph paper on an architect table is an option for a TPO profile, but I'd like to use a modern computerized solution.
I'm looking to use it on 1 to 5 day US Equity charts. Typically historical minute data is only available for 1 year or less. Most often it's 10 or 30 days from historical data providers and brokers.
Even if I got 10 years of minute data from every equity symbol ending today on a DVD, I'd still have a large ongoing data update and archive issue. Yes it can be done, but I want to focus on trading and investing, rather than run a data archival operation as a part time job.
