Hi, I have a problem with this. Does anyone know how it can be done? Now I explain the problem to see if anyone has a solution. Thank you.

At a price level I place a purchase order associated with the ATM1 strategy. When it touches that level the ATM1 strategy puts a stop and a profit, that is to say, normal.
Now comes the part I need. Suppose the price does not go in the direction I want and touches the stop. At this point, what an ATM typically does is to exit the market and cancel the profit order. But I need to touch the stop in addition to doing the above, that Stop serves as a trigger to launch another new ATM 2 strategy other than the ATM1.

Any suggestions?

Image 1. placing a purchase order with ATM strategy at level 30

Image 2. The price touches level 30 and ATM 1 operates with a profit level of 40 and a stop level of 20

Image 3. the price does not follow the expected path and touches the stop at level 20 and instead of finishing the ATM1 strategy and ending with losses that stop serves as trigger to ATM2 with profit level at 20 and stop level at 40

Thanks for all your answers

step 1 and 2 is clear.

but i still don't understand what you want the ATM2 to do ?

If you don't want to be stopped out at that point, you don't put a stop at all
you simply write code that then executes the logic for ATM2

can you provide more information what is ATM2 ?

ATM 2 is used as a reverse option. If the ATM 1 touches the stop, it jumps the ATM2 in reverse being the objective of profit a sale (short) and stop a purchase (long). Ie exactly what makes the option that can be configured in the ATM menu but loading an ATM with different parameters (ATM2) than the one that gave rise to the reverse.

Can anyone help me to modify the code of an ATM? ...... decompile the file ninjatrader.sdf, locate in it an ATM already made and saved, modify the code for where the stop jumps the ATM2, re-compile and work? Thanks and that obviously does not come in the guide ninjatrader 7 nor 8
