At futures io, our focus is on quality education. No hype, gimmicks, or secret sauce. The truth is: trading is hard. To succeed, you need to surround yourself with the right support system, educational content, and trading mentors Ė all of which you can find on futures io, utilizing our social trading environment.

With futures io, you can find honest trading reviews on brokers, trading rooms, indicator packages, trading strategies, and much more. Our trading review process is highly moderated to ensure that only genuine users are allowed, so you donít need to worry about fake reviews.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading sites:
  • We are here to help. Just let us know what you need.
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive in our community.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendors advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, we can help you find it.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community.  It's free and simple.

Answer
This post has been selected as an answer to the original posters question Answer

The current day of the week? Or the day of the week of each bar on the chart?

Display Day of the week on the chart

I'd like to see Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday on the banner of the chart along side the date, if possible.

Thanks,
John

I would recommend you use exchange day of the week and time and not your local pc day/time. if you trade non-us markets such as the Japanese yen, Hang Seng, French CAC, or even the DAX it will be more useful.
It will help immensely when you have DST (Daylight Saving Time) that is different from your local DST.

Bottom line localize to the market you are trading not to your local time. I made my own indicator is where my knowledge on this came from on this subject so you can learn from my prior research.

Hope it helps.

I actually had that indicator in my arsenal but it won't display on the subpanel. Any ideas why not?

Thanks,
John

Seems to work fine so long as New Panel is used when it is added rather than Same as Input series.

Check that you don't already have a stored template for it in Templates/Indicators with a problematic panel number setting.

Cheers
