Cannot chart Google INDEXNASDAQ:OSX in NinjaTrader
Thank you for your reply.
I've also seen that video, but cannot figure out what the settings should be in the NT Instrument Manager.
The PHLX Oil Service Sector has INDEXNASDAQ:OSX as identifier.
While Balfour Beatty plc has LON:BBY as identifier.
So, the excange would be INDEXNASDAQ, and the ticker would be OSX.
In the Instrument Manager, I go to the Instrument Editor.
There, in Master Instrument, I put OSX.
In exchanges, I untick "Default", and tick "Nasdaq".
However, when I re-open the Instrument Editor, the Default box is automatically ticked again (Nasdaq stays ticked).
On the Misc tab, next to Google, I put the ticker "OSX"
When I connect to Google data feed, and try to chart OSX, I get this error:
It seems that NT keeps adding that "Default", which is ticked automatically.
Also, I don't know where to put the INDEXNASDAQ, which should be the exchange, right?
