I have a custom Strategy that uses custom DLLs. The strategy works fine in a Windows7 machine. Just got another Windows7 laptop, installed NinjaTrader, copied over the Custom folder with the custom Strategy and DLLs. But the new system will not compile the custom Strategy and can't find the referenced DLLs, even thought they are in the NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom folder. Has anyone run into this problem, before?

The dll's not only need to be in the directory, they also need to be loaded

Open any indicators in NT, so you see source code
then right click anywhere in the source code and choose references

is the dll there ?
if not, you will need to add it there

It now compiles, after I followed Rleplae's great answer. But it will not show up in the list of new strategies, when I go to choose New Strategy.

Found the answer, I was missing the DLLs in the main Custom folder.
