Here is another version of StepMA I did a while back.

It is based on newer v7.2 of stepMA and also addresses a number of problems with the other NinjaTrader port. That version for some reason redraws buy/sell signals after the fact, and leaves the old signal there so you are left with both buy and sell signals on each transition bar which can cause problems with strategy if you aren't paying close attention.

Also the other version included the 'TenthPip' thing which was never part of the original design by Igorad and was basically a useless parameter since you can get the same effect by adjusting the gain (Kv) and step size.

I was about to post this in filesharing section then realized it is missing a few little details like descriptions for parameters etc.. I have to leave soon and don't have time to mess with it right now but thought I would post the rough version here anyways. If anyone else wants to finish it up and post it be my guest =)

sefstrat.
tried to load , not sure if it's working since the ma's can't yet be selected like in v7.1. - it just says "0" in the parameter selection field.
don't know what else yet, just trying a side-by-side comparison and it didn't look the same.

For those that like StepMA, you'd probably also like NonLagMA. Basically I think the biggest innovation in these moving averages is the filter parameter.

What I like about this particular (con)version of NonLagMA is the 'split tick' parameter which I feel allows for greater fine tuning.

I don't understand exactly what you are getting at, can you elaborate?
