may want to check with someone who uses it....i think i have seen it in GOM.

also i have seen it in jigsaw...atleast in R tape(reconstructed taoe)

posting some stuff....but if it shows volume....i think you can set filters..

i dont use this per verbatim....hence not able to show....but as far as i recollect its possible. you may want to post in GOM thread to ensure

I see what your suggesting with the footprint. Again, I'm looking for something very similar to bookmap. Not trying to rip them off but if we can plot our own version of bookmap. Example... instead of dots we use diamonds for long and squares for short. Or something to set us a part.

Really, this doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do... ???

I seriously believe plots representing 200+ (or simply user defined) size blocks would be very helpful!

I certainly disagree, all my research into order size/flow indicates that is not at all a useful metric anymore. Maybe 10 years ago.

Perhaps not as individual blocks but when we see them accumulating as filled orders at an area it would show conviction.

Yes, and that is completely different than what you were talking about with "block sizes".

You can use an assortment of existing tools for Volume Profile and Volume Ladder/Footprint to measure this.

I agree and appreciate pointing out the footprint and ladder tools as I've have used them. For me, there are too many numbers and the layout, settings etc. not as intuitive. So this really doesn't help.

I'm more a "quick read" visual/graphics learner (example: kirtosis on the volume profile) and again, would prefer something like the dots in "bookmap".

Nevertheless, I've decided to drop the request as I don't want to rock the boat here. Thank you for your consideration!

this is what ES showed on bkmap. you can see the filtered trades here. However am not sure how i would find value. But also understand that people do and hence it probably is a function.

I use the tool for something entirely different..since it part of my Ninja tool collection. It is not used as a standalone...rather it needs to confirm something which i use alongwith Ninja...JS ..AD and Gom is part of that collection of tools. However only 1 screen dedicated to JS/AD/Bkmap....and AD/Gom gets 2 screens of its own

Thank you for sharing this! I'm gonna try the free replay version and experiment with the larger lots at key areas. I think anything less than a 209 block on the ES is just noise. Thus , eliminating the noise should expose "graphically" where the "most serious" conviction occurs.

most of the time....there will be Limits...it is Limit order which move markets...not that market orders do not.

But it is of essence to understand when a Limit Order or Market Order will move price.

Just looking at Bigger Orders may not cut it

With the JigSaw Reconstructed Tape you can set it for Block Trades under the Settings tab, then in the Alerts Tab (not shown in screen shot) set it for Block Trade Alert Markers witch I have set to Aqua for block buys and Red for block sells. You can also set it for audio alerts by checking the Block Trade Alert Box. You can set it for the default audio file, none, or even make your own custom audio file. Here is a screen shot. As you will see I have it set for a minimum of 200 lots on the ES.

EDIT:
I also want to point out that the blocks on the chart DO NOT stick! In other words, If you make any changes to any indicator on the chart, or close ninja etc, the blocks will be gone. You will need to take a screen shot daily to review at a later time for perfecting your craft. Funny how you can put drawings on a chart and they will stick but things created by an indicator don't.... Maybe this will change in Ninja8???
