I am not exactly sure how the dots work, but if the dots form at the close of the bar then the third entry is not quite as attractive. Have you considered filtering out large deviations or adjusting the profit and breakeven points? I quickly overlayed a 20 period bollinger on your chart and it seemed to work ok. Just a thought.

I was wondering if a knowledgeable programmer could implement a strategy for me?

It is very simple.

We use the 20 ema and 50 ema for trade direction. THIS IS NOT AN EMA CROSS STRATEGY. If the 20 ema is above the 50 ema then only long trades are taken. If the 20 ema is below the 50 ema then only short trades are taken. Trades are then entered WHEN the 8 ema fires a "Jeff Dot" NOT when the bar closes.

From what I understand.....because of ninja limitations a strategy that enters before bar close will not be able to be back tested......this is ok. I just want it to work in real time.

I'd also like to be able to control what time of day the strategy is in operation.

Today this strategy would have had 4 winners and 1 loser.

How this strategy working out for you?
