Hey everyone I use tick charts to trade with, and as we know volume means something different on a tick chart than on a time based chart. Time kind of becomes a component of volume...the more volume the fast the bars print. Does anyone know of an indicator that tracks bar length (in time) open to close?
Ideally I would like an indicator that was simple like a green light on the bar if it prints quicker than the previous bar and a red light if it prints slower than the previous bar. This would allow you to visually see volume flowing into our out of the instrument on a tick or volume chart. As volume flows in, bar printing speeds up and you get a row of green lights. As volume slows down, bar printing slows and you get a row of red lights.
Thanks
